Selection Procedure for Joining Pak Army PMA 147 Long Course 2021:

Written, Intelligence Test:
Numerous selection questions from curriculum, general knowledge and intelligence.
Medical tests:
Applicants who have successfully cleared the written test will be called for the preliminary medical test / examination at the Army Selection and Recruitment Center.
Physical test:
- Run: 1.6 km in 8 minutes
- Push up: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Sit-ups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Pick up: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Dutch crossing: 7′.4 “x 7′.4” and 4 ‘deep
ISSB tests and interviews:
Successful shortlist candidates will be called for ISSB test and interview in different AS & RC.
The last medical test:
The final medical examination of the proposed candidates will be held at the nearest CMH.
The final Selection:
The final selection will be based on all the performance of the candidate on GHQ.
Training Candidates:
Only shortlisted selected candidates will go to PMA Academy for a period of 2 years training.
Pakistani nationals residing abroad:
Eligible candidates abroad are exempt from preliminary selection. However, defense attachments will explore their overall suitability, physical ugliness and sharpness. Candidates are advised to contact Pakistani embassies (military / defense attached) in the country where they reside to issue application forms.
